Capacity: 880 Metric Tons per Day
Process: High-Pressure Once-Through Reactor (6,000 psig)
Designer: Vulcan (CPI Allied)
Overview:
Available for sale is a complete 880 TPD Urea Plant designed by Vulcan (CPI Allied).
The unit features a high-pressure once-through urea reactor rated at 6,000 psig, capable of achieving 80% CO₂ conversion, and equipped with a zirconium liner and purge water protection system for enhanced corrosion resistance.
The plant includes a carbamate decomposer, ammonia stripper, and a Monoethanolamine (MEA)-based CO₂ removal system.
To increase capacity, the plant was uprated with an additional CO₂ compressor and one ammonia charge pump, bringing production to 880 metric tons per day.
CO₂ compression is handled by three Ingersoll Rand heavy-duty horizontal electric reciprocating compressors, while ammonia feed is provided by four Worthington Septuplex plunger pumps.
The final urea solution feeds into a Urea Granulation Unit (#536) for production of urea granules.
